Quay Garage and Car Sales Ltd is owned locally by Ian Woollacott, who was originally based in Braunton on Velator Quay. Ian took the Quay from Velator Quay to form Quay Garage and Car Sales Ltd, but after a couple of years it was clear he was outgrowing the site and moved to the current vehicle sales site on Exeter Road in Braunton. Ian quickly established himself within the area for providing a high quality of service to all his customers. As the business grew, his wife Penny and eldest daughter Hannah joined Ian to assist in the growth of the business. The business grew further and so we expanded to our current site in Barnstaple to accommodate our growing customer base. Our car sales centre still operates from Braunton, selling our range of Mercedes-Benz vehicles and all other marques with Penny and Hannah having key roles within the sales and valeting side of the business.

MODERN AFTER SALES REPAIR GARAGE

Dan Comber started work as an apprentice back in 2001, working alongside Ian. Since then, he has worked hard to gain both qualifications and experience in a modern after sales repairing garage. This early introduction to the motor trade and Dan’s determination to progress from a mechanic and engineer to a 21st century technician have given him the edge and logical approach to everything he does in maintaining your vehicle. Dan has recently been trained and qualified in the latest air conditioning equipment to carry out routine system servicing as well as leak detection and diagnostic investigations in the event of a system failure.

MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Mike Evely joined the company in 2006, bringing with him many years of experience with light commercial vehicles and automobiles of all ages. Mike has taken and passed all training courses that he has attended while keeping an open mind and using these courses to bring more knowledge back to the team.

Mike is a valued member of the company and is always ready to assist all our customers, including our fleet contract vehicles to ensure the vehicle is back on the road in a timely manner.
